Luke Friedli is a Lubbock resident of over 25 years. During high school, he developed an interest in cars, and eventually decided to turn that hobby into a profession. In 2007, he graduated from the Automotive Technology program at South Plains College and began a career in automotive service and repair. Over the next several years, he worked at a dealership, a large independent shop, and a national repair chain, continuing to grow, learn and gain experience. In 2010, he started his own business as Luke’s Auto Repair. In the fall of 2013, he moved to the current location off of south Frankford Ave. Today, he is an ASE-certified Master Automobile Technician, with additional certifications in light diesel engines and advanced gasoline engine
performance. While working at the dealership, he became interested in diesel pickups. That interest continued when he began his own shop. Today, he operates Luke’s Auto Repair and Diesel as a full-service diesel pickup shop, able to handle anything from simple fuel filter changes to complete
engine installs. He regularly attends continuing education classes on various topics, and makes ongoing investments in the special tools and software needed to properly service today’s high-tech diesel pickups.
